About Me.
I am an ordinary human being and citizen of the United Kingdom. I came to Buddhism late in 2000. I chose the Bodhisattva path in December 2007.
Before becoming a Buddhist, I had had a number of set-backs. The worst was a period of agoraphobia in 1990 that left me almost housebound. Between these times, I slowly built a philosophy that had some of the basics of Buddhism. I came to see that "the bad" in life had much to do with:
- Change or impermanence.
- Uncertainty or unpredictability.
- Attachment to things and to people.
My philosophy, which I came to call "Kigh", was complex. It gave a scaffold by which I climbed to the truths of Buddhism. I have kicked away that scaffold now I have chosen the Bodhisattva path.
I am also interested in the ancient archaeology of Norfolk. I keep a website on this. Web: http://www.ancientnorfolk.co.uk
